Continuing our Culture of Learning and Development
We are pleased to announce the first of several improvements to care training for the team at The Great Care Company. We have teamed up with the leading training provider ELearning For You, part of The Access Group, to support our amazing team with increased learning opportunities and career development tools. The aim is to ensure that our “culture of learning and development”, as described by CQC in our last inspection, continues to improve and go from strength to strength.

Everyone in the team is excited to get going with the new training available to them. We have even seen several staff complete a number of new training courses, on the new online training portal, within the first few days of the system launching.
Over 60 New Courses Available
The online care training portal features a free app so our team can complete their training anywhere they want. The app is really easy to use and even comes with a tool to support people with Dyslexia.
With over 60 courses available, our team now have access to some of the UK’s leading training in the home care sector. All of the training includes a range of assessments, which must be completed, so that we know that our team understand what they have been taught.

By having this mindset, we continue to improve and, hopefully in many cases, exceed the services deserved and expected by our wonderful clients.”
The new online training courses are written and developed for the care sector in conjunction with national subject-matter experts and have been designed to make training in care efficient, flexible, relevant and engaging for all staff. On top of the online-based courses, our team are now offered new “Support Sessions” whereby staff can access support from other experienced members of the team to help them with any area’s they are finding difficult either over the phone, a video call or in person, where it’s safe to do so in a COVID secure environment.
