It takes a special kind of person to become a Home Carer.

Being a Home Carer, you will need to provide a service to individuals in their own homes and communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness or disability. Home Carers are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, by relevant agency policies and industry standards.

Tasks may include assistance with the activities of daily living such as:

Household Duties

Not only is a Home Carer responsible for delivering the care to the individual that is required but also for ensuring the client’s safety and security within the home.
