Our Journey In Care

In 2019, we were honoured to receive the Outstanding in Caring award from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), a testament to the high standard of care we provide. We were also proud winners of our first homecare award and our first provider award group award in the same year.

We were proud to receive our first home care award, a significant milestone that recognised our dedication to providing exceptional care to our clients. This award served as a validation of our commitment to excellence and further motivated us to continue striving for the highest standards of in-home care services. It was a moment of great pride for our team and a testament to the hard work and compassion that we put into our work every day. Winning this award was a true honour and solidified our position as a leading provider of home care in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.

To further enhance the well-being of our clients, we launched the Four Walls Campaign, aimed at combating social isolation. Through this initiative, we have been able to create connections, foster companionship, and promote a sense of belonging among our clients. Ensuring no one feels alone and isolated.

Our York office was rated as Outstanding in caring by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), a remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication and exceptional level of care provided by our team in York. This recognition highlights our commitment to delivering high-quality home care services and our ongoing efforts to support and enhance the well-being of our clients. We are incredibly proud of this accolade and will continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of our care provision.

We introduced our care champions program, empowering our carers to champion specific conditions or causes. Our care champions raise awareness through training, campaigning, and fundraising, ensuring that our team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide specialised care.

In addition to winning our first homecare award for Yorkshire and the Humber, we were also thrilled to be awarded our first provider award group award in 2021. This prestigious accolade recognised our dedication and commitment to excellence in providing top-quality home care services. It was a significant achievement for our team and further cemented our reputation as a leading provider in the region. Winning this award motivated us to continue our pursuit of excellence and to uphold the highest standards of care for our clients. We were honoured to have received this recognition and are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, we launched our Extra Mile Scheme, which is dedicated to supporting our clients, staff, and local communities. 

Through this scheme: 

• We have provided over 450 hours of additional free care for our clients
• Performed over 50 Kind Acts dedicated to our clients and team
• Delivered over 2,500 hours of additional training to support our staff’s learning and development
• offered countless hours of free additional support with medication and food collection throughout the lockdown. 

Through our extraordinary efforts and the success of our extra mile scheme, we have continued to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and the communities we serve.

In our unwavering dedication to expanding our services and offering exceptional home care, we were delighted to unveil our new locations in Harrogate and Lincoln. These additions have allowed us to reach even more individuals in need, advancing our mission to positively impact the lives of those we serve. With our committed team of caregivers and a strong emphasis on tailored support, we are thrilled to bring our compassionate care to the communities of Harrogate and Lincoln. Our ultimate aim remains unchanged – to prioritise the well-being and comfort of our clients while creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

Our dedication and hard work have been acknowledged at the prestigious Great British Care Awards, where our team members were finalists and received high commendations in a range of categories. These categories included the Home Carer Award Finalist, the York Office Care Team Award Finalist, the Care Newcomer Award Finalist, and The Care Innovator Award Finalist.
