Frequently Asked Questions
Depending on the service you require, there may be some minimum terms attached. These terms are designed so you will receive the high standard of care you deserve.
After reading through the services that we offer, we have built our system so you can inquire with us in the way you feel most comfortable doing so. Once we have received your enquiry, one of our Great Care Coordinators will confirm your individual requirements and help you with the planning, funding and commencement of the care service.
The price depends entirely on the service you require. Our prices are competitive, yet reflect the high quality service provided. Before committing to any service you will be given a full price breakdown for the personalised care required.
There is no need to worry - We are here to help improve your quality of life, it is what we are Great at. Our great staff pride themselves with having a wealth of experience helping all kinds of people, and they are trained to deal with any situation or scenario. Our core values are respect and discretion for one’s privacy and dignity.
If you had to be admitted to hospital or were advised that respite for a short time would be beneficial to you, we would need to be notified as soon as possible. We would cancel your visits for that duration and then upon your return home discuss with you how you would like to use the hours you have paid for but not used. We can either extend your contract by the number of hours outstanding or you can use them differently, such as for additional support for a few days to get you settled back at home.
This is a very rare occurrence. If we know that your assigned Carer is unable to tend to you on a particular day, we will let you know as soon as possible and make arrangements for an alternative Care Team Member to attend. However, other circumstance may arise such as they can be caught in traffic, so if your Carer does not arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, please let us know.
If your health improved or deteriorated, we would pick up on this during our reviews and with feedback from your Care team. A full Care Plan review would then be organised at your convenience and agreements would be made as to the best way forward to ensure that your care needs continue to be met.
We understand the importance of pairing the right Carer to your needs. We also pride ourselves on our consistency of service - if we can provide the same Carer for familiarity every time, we will. Our Care staff does need time off from time to time, however, any replacement will be trained to the same great high standards we set. If a new Carer is assigned, by your request or ours, we will discuss the change and introduce the new Care Team member beforehand.
